Shutterstock used to offer Lightboxes, which allow you to save and bookmark stock files. These are now called Shutterstock Collections.
There is no need to be sad really. You can still sort and share stock images, photos and vector illustrations. However, the Shutterstock team has added various new features designed to simplify your design process flow.
- Search & Save: Create a new Collection for every project, add stock files and access it anywhere
- Personalize: Edit an image or start a new design with the Shutterstock Editor and save it to Collections
- Share & Collaborate: Invite team members or clients to view or edit Collections
- Download: Save time by downloading files directly from Collections
Also, Shutterstock are offering various intuitive design application and software plugins to further simplify your design process. Check out the free Shutterstock Editor, Shutterstock for Teams, and the Add-in for PowerPoint®.
The free Shutterstock Plugin allows you to access their image collection right from within Adobe Photoshop®. You can edit any watermarked image to test your design ideas first. Once you are satisfied, you can license the image and any edits made will automatically be reapplied.
