Formidable Forms Now Supporting Invisible reCAPTCHA

As promised earlier, Formidable Forms is now supporting Google’s invisible reCAPTCHA to protect your WordPress (contact) forms.

Invisible reCAPTCHA

The first reCAPTCHA version where you had to decipher and enter two words has been quite annoying to be honest. The checkbox in version 2, however, was a huge improvement in terms of user experience. Simply check the box and you’re good to go.

The holy grail of reCAPTCHA spam protection
– Formidable Forms

The invisible reCAPTCHA is the jack of all trades. It usually does not have any negative impact on UX or conversions. Well, it’s invisible most of the times! Only on rare occasions where suspicious behaviour is suspected, Google will display reCAPTCHA v2 after the submit button is clicked.

Simply switch Formidable Forms to invisible reCAPTCHA in just 2 minutes:

  1. Get new reCAPTCHA keys (reCPATCHA type: invisible)
  2. Enter keys at Formidable > Global Settings

Please note that you can only use one reCAPTCHA type per site. In combination with their Honeypot SPAM protection, you have done your best to fight spam and protect your forms.
